Owens/Kennemore Detachment #1105 Commandant Sandy Thompson
The Owens/Kennemore Detachment was chartered on 17 August 2002. Named in great esteem for two U.S. Marine MEDAL OF HONOR recipients from Greenville, SC. This Detachment is a non-profit organization within the provisions of IRS Code 501 (c) 4 with a a special group exemption letter, which allows for contributions to be tax deductible by the donor.

Our Mission
The mission of the Marine Corps League is to promote the interest and to preserve traditions of the United States Marine Corps; strengthen the fraternity of Marines and their families; serve Marines, FMF Corpsmen, and FMF Chaplains who wear or who have worn the Eagle, Globe and Anchor; and foster the ideals of Americanism and patriotic volunteerism.
